Blurred Vision Play First Shows Of 2013 In Toronto

Fresh off their acclaimed UK tour at the end of 2012, Blurred Vision will be performing a stretch of shows in Toronto and surrounding cities in Ontario.

Their first date will be an intimate performance at The Central on Friday January 11, followed by a can't miss show at one of the band's favourite hangouts - The Hideout - on Friday February 1st.

Blurred Vision become official Whyhunger artists, joining Bruce Springsteen, Santana, in fight against hunger and poverty

Blurred Vision recently became official Whyhunger artists, joining music legends Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santana, Jackson Browne and others in the fight against hunger and poverty.

Blurred Vision put out a statement in support of the NYC based charity stating:
"It is an honor for us to stand with Whyhunger in the fight against hunger and poverty. We truly believe that the root cause of most of our world's problems stem from this major crisis, and Whyhunger are leading the path in the 21st century to a hunger and poverty free world"

Blurred Vision Prepare for Whyhunger Benefit Concert at The Hard Rock Cafe

Blurred Vision will be performing a very special concert on Thursday July 5 2012, at the Legendary Hard Rock Cafe in Toronto.

On July 05, the group will unveil some songs of their highly anticipated forthcoming debut album "Organized Insanity" live, and proceeds from the concert will benefit Whyhunger.

Blurred Vision Single Release - "Sound Of Silence"

Hard to believe it's been nearly 50 years since "The Sound Of Silence" began carving the path to stardom for a legendary folk duo named Simon and Garfunkel. It was the group's first hit single and Paul Simon had written the song in college as a means to cope with the alienation of youth and as a response to the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Harnessing the power of social media, Blurred Vision have compiled a video from fans around the world chanting the global rallying cry of "Hey Ayatollah Leave Those Kids Alone"!

The band stated "The purpose behind the video is to raise awareness and attention towards the growing number of executions taking place in Iran, as well as the Iranian regimes involvement in the horrific government crackdown upon protestors in Syria. But mostly, to make a clear and loud stance against any calls or intentions of another war from our own governments here at home".
